ORLANDO – With so many businesses right around the Orlando City SC home, Exploria Stadium, frequented by fans on matchdays, the club has found a way to help out those businesses that are now closed full time due to coronavirus.

The Lions announced the #ALLforORL campaign, a virtual campaign to help out all the small businesses around the stadium. With the stay-at-home order now in effect for Florida these businesses, already suffering from the matches being postponed, have been shut down and the club needs the businesses to survive to provide services that they don’t.

“Whether you’re a local bar along Church St. or a City Pub in Altamonte Springs that hosts watch parties on away days, we know many small businesses rely on our game days for an uptick in guests, so we want to do everything we can to remotely recreate our match days. The Greater Orlando area continually supports one another and comes together when tested, and Orlando City SC is proud to always play a big part in uniting Central Florida through our shared love of soccer. Even though we can’t be together right now, we know soccer will be back and we will all be able to cheer on our teams soon.”

Orlando City CEO Alex Leitão

Orlando City created a virtual march to the match, which allows fans to recreate their route to Exploria Stadium and stop at their usual venues. At the stops supporters will be able to donate or buy items from their favorite facilities. The businesses can be visited any time of day on any day but OCSC has encouraged fans to visit on what would have been matchdays.
